Use & Applications Many homes have multiple users of the A V system. Each one with their favourite movie, music, TV programme, or SAT channel. Often family disagreements start with the choice of Sunday night's entertainment. The Videosender with "multisource" can help stop these family feuds. The standard Videosender transmits the source that is being used at that moment. This is perfect for when you want that flexibility to watch a DVD in the bedroom or study but both the main TV and the second TV are tuned to the same source. With "multisource" the Videosender can transmit another source, so that the second TV isn't watching the same programme as the main TV. And the source is selectable, remotely, with any remote. The connection of A/V equipment is quite complex. The SSB (Smart Scart Box) simplifies the installation of the Video Sender, making it easy for any consumer. NOTE : The SSB1 can ONLY be used in combination with the Marmitek Gigavideo70 which is designed to transmit Audio/video signals to a remote TV, even through walls and ceilings, without running wires. The SSB1 in combination with the IR remote extender feature of the GV70 allows to select and control any A/V appliance, even different from the source displayed on the main TV, from a remote location with the original remote control. For example, you can zap from DVD to SAT, and then adjust the SAT channel. With the SSB1, you take full benefits from your AV-appliance system at several locations in your house. Technical information The SSB1 consists of a SCART junction box with mini-DIN cable and a SCART/SCART cable for A/V appliances. Note : The connector at the SBB1 is NOT an S-video connector.
