Use
& Applications
- "Power of the PC on any TV":
A PC monitor is not the greatest screen for experiencing the crisp images
of DVD. Nor can you enjoy the full impact of digital sound. But your
TV is designed specifically for comfortable high quality viewing and
listening.
The problem is your TV and your PC are not in the same room. So how
do you get the PC image onto the TV?
With the X-10 2.4 GHz transmitter plugged into the video output of your
MPEG 2 card or graphics card and X-10's 2.4 GHz receiver plugged into
the AV connector of your TV, your PC image can be transmitted wireless
across your home to your big screen TV. Along with the X10 Multimedia
universal remote, you can also control your PC from the comfort of your
armchair.
It is as if your TV had been given the horsepower of a PC.
- "Real time benefit from Internet":
Everybody has a daily pattern. Most people like to get news and events
updated either in the morning or late at night.
Wouldn't it be great to have access to internet services during these
key times? Just as the DVD image and sound can be put on any TV, so
also can your favourite internet service with the 2.4 GHz transmitter
plugged into the video output of your VGA converter. Imagine the benefit
of real time information.
